eBay Fee Calculator

See what eBay takes from a sale as a business seller — final value fee, per-order fee and VAT.

⚠ Final value fee rates vary by category (roughly 6.9%–14.9%). This uses the most common rate as a default — verify your exact category rate on eBay's Seller Centre before pricing stock.

How this is calculated
Final value fee = sale price (incl. postage) × category rate. eBay also charges a fixed €0.30–0.40 per completed order, plus a Regulatory Operating Fee (~0.4% of the sale, introduced April 2024 for Ireland and several other EU/UK markets) to cover compliance costs. Business sellers pay 23% Irish VAT on eBay's own fees (not on your sale price) — this is reclaimable through your VAT return if you're VAT-registered, so it's shown separately and excluded from "you keep" if you can reclaim it.

This calculator is provided for general guidance only and uses representative figures. eBay's exact final value fee depends on your specific category and can change — verify with eBay's Seller Centre fee schedule before pricing stock.
